  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team within the Card Services department, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth.
  • Allocate and manage department resources to required tasks.
  • Oversee daily operations, including card issuance, transaction authorization, card payments, transfers, returns, maintenance, dispute resolution, fraud management, account closures, legal subpoenas, return mail, and cardholder support.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily balancing, general ledger reconciliation, settlement, and reporting tasks.
  • Establish, monitor, and build reports on key performance metrics and dashboards to track departmental performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate and execute system enhancements, operational processes, and systems, using data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement. Lead cross-functional teams in process redesign and the implementation of operational efficiencies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including third-party processors, ensuring optimal performance and addressing escalations when necessary.
  • Ensure the department operates in accordance with all applicable federal regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to all required rules and guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff to maintain high levels of proficiency in product knowledge, compliance, and operational processes.
  • Complete mandatory compliance training in accordance with established deadlines.The position performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
    • At least 5 years of experience in card services operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience managing and developing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
    • Strong understanding of card services operations, including compliance, fraud prevention, and vendor management.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.COMPENSATIONThe posted pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role but may include ranges from different geographies where this position may be based. New employees' starting pay is usually from the start of the range to approximately 25% of the max, more qualified and/or experienced employees may start near the middle of the range for their geography. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.Compensation for our organization is based on factors that include the role, required knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies, and candidates' relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs.
