role. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered
Nurse to join our Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab team. The ideal
candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac care and
demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in
a fast-paced environment. This role involves working closely with
patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures, ensuring their
safety and comfort throughout the process. Duties Provide
comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac
Electrophysiology Lab. Assist with the preparation and monitoring
of patients undergoing electrophysiological procedures. Perform IV
insertion, triage, and emergency medicine as required. Administer
gastric lavage and manage tube feeding for patients as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to
develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients
and their families about procedures, post-operative care, and
lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate patient records and
documentation in accordance with hospital policies. Participate in
ongoing training and development opportunities within a teaching
hospital environment. Skills Electrophysiology Procedures
Proficient in emergency room protocols and dementia care practices.
Strong ability to perform dermal fillers as part of patient care
when applicable. Excellent communication skills for effective
patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability
to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to
detail. Strong critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and
respond appropriately during procedures. Compassionate approach
towards patient care, ensuring comfort and support throughout their
experience. Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) Monday-Thursday
Charting System: EPIC Required Type of Facility: Acute Care
Hospital Will this traveler need to float between like units? Yes
