Adelphi is seeking a psychiatrist to provide hybrid psychiatric services at an outpatient facility in Oroville/Chico Area, California. The psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing psychiatric care for adult patients in a collaborative outpatient setting. Job Quick Facts: BD-852-03 Profession: Physician Speciality: Psychiatrist Location: Oroville/Chico Area, CA Facility Type: Behavioral Health Clinic Service Setting: Outpatient Job Type: Contract Coverage Type: Tele-psychiatry with one week for on site visits every month/quarter Shift Schedule: 36 hours/week (Ideally 8-hour days (8:00 AM 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch) Call Schedule: No on call Patient visits: 60 minutes, Follow-up visits: 30 minutes, Maximum of 14 follow-ups/day if schedule is full, No-show rate: Approximately 25% Documentation/Admin Time: 1 hour per day included in schedule Start Date: April 1 (Long-term assignment) Requirements: Active CA license BC/BE DEA License Valid US driver's license upon date of application. Must obtain California driver's license following hire date per California DMV regulations Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide ongoing medication management and psychotherapy as needed. Perform crisis intervention, including prescribing and administering emergency medications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and support services including NPs, counselors, therapists, and case managers. Evaluate patients for voluntary/involuntary commitment and complete required documentation. Maintain detailed and compliant medical records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Support continuity of care for patients engaged in day treatment and substance use programs. Any other duties as assigned.
