Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in product design or UX for consumer technology. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 15 years of experience in product design or UX. 7 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization. 6 years of experience leading design projects. As the Senior Staff UX Designer, you will define the future of interaction for Search. You will be responsible for establishing and driving a cohesive product design and idea that can leverage generative AI. In partnership with product, engineering, and research leaders, you will navigate ambiguity to deliver innovations that redefine how users access information. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$329,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies. Lead the development of innovative design solutions for user, product, and business problems. Own a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products. Lead design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that further business outcomes. Guide and provide direction to UX designers in creating design concepts for user research/testing.
