Nutanix, you'll be joining the Planning Team, which is an essential
part of our Supply Chain Operations. This dynamic team consists of
about 60 members in Supply Chain Ops, with 5 dedicated
professionals in Planning. Our culture emphasizes collaboration and
innovation, as we are responsible for managing the flow of
materials and products to meet customer demand. By working closely
with various functions across the company, including Sales,
Operations, and Finance, our Planning Team ensures accurate
forecasting and effective inventory management. We strive to
optimize supply chain processes that not only reduce costs but also
enhance customer satisfaction, all while aligning with Nutanix's
strategic initiatives and supporting our configure-to-order
model.You will report to the Sr. Director of Planning, who fosters
an inclusive and supportive environment conducive to professional
growth. The work setup is hybrid, which allows you to work in the
office three days a week while providing flexibility for remote
work. As for travel requirements, this role does not require any
travel, allowing you to maintain a stable work-life balance while
contributing to the team's success.Your Role
- Develop and oversee demand forecasts and supply plans for
Nutanix's configure-to-order model, ensuring alignment with
customer demand.
- Manage commodity flow, scheduling, and analysis to maintain
optimal inventory levels and ensure on-time order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Sales,
Operations, and Finance-to drive strategic initiatives and enhance
supply chain efficiency.
- Utilize advanced ERP/MRP/Forecasting systems to analyze data
and derive actionable insights that influence demand planning.
- Monitor product lifecycles, proactively addressing potential
issues and implementing corrective actions to optimize inventory
management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost control,
and reduction of excess and obsolete inventory liabilities.
- Establish strong communication channels and reporting
mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of forecast accuracy and
supply chain performance.
- Achieve first-year objectives such as improving forecasting
accuracy by X%, reducing lead times by Y%, and enhancing overall
customer satisfaction ratings.What You Will Bring
- Proficient in ERP/MRP/Forecasting systems, specifically Kinaxis
Maestro (required).
- 10+ years of experience in materials planning and demand
forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related
field.
- Strong understanding of the configure-to-order (CTO)
manufacturing model.
- Experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing preferred.
- Possession of industry certifications (e.g., CPF, ACPF, CPIM)
is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data
analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective
cross-functional collaboration.Work ArrangementHybrid: This role
operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work
with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles,
that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per
week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent
in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms
will be provided by your manager.The pay range for this position at
commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 152,800
and USD $ 229,200 per year.However, base pay offered may vary
depending on multiple individualized factors, including market
location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total
compensation package for this position may also include other
elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and
discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical,
financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and
various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and
parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of
participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an
employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be
